Public Health Policies

Wide Eyed Bride
Public Health Policies

The following provisions are made necessary because of the health and safety issues raised by public health emergencies. Each client is required to execute and deliver a copy of this amendment to the Makeup and Hair Artistry Agreement entered into between the parties. By execution of this amendment, Customer agrees to comply and be subject to the policies, procedures and agreements contained herein. Client understands that these pandemic policies and procedures are subject to change from time to time as additional public health information becomes available:

  1. The Parties agree that all services performed pursuant to the agreement will be performed by the Artist and others involved therein with the benefit of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in order to protect to the extent possible all parties involved in the delivery of services under this agreement. Any PPE deemed appropriate or advisable by Wide Eyed Bride and/or the Artist or mandated by any governmental regulations or advisories promulgated by any governmental or private agencies or organizations may be utilized by Wide Eyed Bride and its Artists.

  2. The cost of the purchase of such PPE at the time of rendering such services will be paid by Customer and will be added to the final bill at the current market prices two weeks prior to the event.

  3. Wide Eyed Bride asks clients to not participate in services if the client is feeling unwell before the event. Please contact your booking agent.

*If you have already signed an agreement with Wide Eyed Bride, a contract amendment will be emailed to you

- Due to the close nature of our work, Wide Eyed Bride still requires the use of PPE (personal protective equipment) while clients & artists work together. The fee to purchase appropriate gear will be added to the final bill at current market rates two weeks prior to the event.

- Although some artists and bridal party members may be fully vaccinated during the time of services, and/or may have just received a negative COVID test within 72hrs of the styling session, Wide Eyed Bride still requires the use of face masks, physical distancing, and air flow within the appointment space when accessible, for infection control mitigation

- All bridal party members receiving hair and/or makeup services must sign a form and submit electronically two weeks before the event acknowledging new policy changes, and to abide by new policies concerning hair and/or makeup services. These forms can be emailed to either amany@wideeyedbride.com, elysabeth@wideeyedbride.com or maggie@wideeyedbride.com, and must include the participant’s email and mobile number should Wide Eyed Bride need to contact trace.

Wide Eyed Bride’s Virtual Hair and/or Makeup Trials:

Virtual hair and/or makeup trials are strongly encouraged over in-person trials to minimize exposure and to maintain social distancing.

1) A virtual consultation with the chosen hair and/or makeup artists so that the artist and client can familiarize themselves with each other. A virtual consultation can include help in building an inspiration board for the artist to work off of, showing the artist any skin or hair issues that need attention, help in purchasing hair extensions and/or makeup touchup kit, discussing hair accessories such as veil placement, hair clips, flower crowns, etc.

This virtual trial will cost $50. Up to 3 clients of the same bridal party can participate in a virtual trial session at a time. Wide Eyed Bride will help facilitate the virtual meeting.

If the client decides to not do a virtual session, we strongly advise the client to come prepared with an inspiration board of hair and/or makeup looks for the artist to work from.

Hair and/or Makeup Service Procedures:

 - Wide Eyed Bride asks clients to not participate in services if the client is feeling unwell before the event. Please contact Amany, Elysabeth, or Maggie to make arrangements.

- Only eight people maximum allowed into the service space at a time (four artists and four clients). There will be no congregation of the bridal party while services are being performed to maintain social distancing. Bridal party members can wait either outside of the closed services area, maintaining 6ft distance between each other, or other appropriate area as determined by the location.

- Wide Eyed Bride requires a large enough, well-ventilated room to maintain social distancing of 6ft between each artist station. Outdoors with access to power outlets is the preferred location to perform services.

- Wide Eyed Bride requires additional time built into the getting-ready schedule to allow each artist to disinfect properly between each client.

- 20% gratuity will only be accepted with final payment via credit card, and will now be added to the final bill to minimize contact between client and artists.
